At St. Luke’s, one of our fundamental principles is to “serve the Lord.” The Community Concerns Committee is responsible for guiding the parishioners in St. Luke’s support of charitable organizations within our community. The committee meets 2-3 times a year to organize and plan fundraiser events, including Bingo Night, luncheons and food drives, among others. Following is a list of the organizations we support:

  • Episcopal City Mission
  • USO
  • Task Force for the Hungry
  • Circle of Concern
  • Feed My Starving Children

Episcopal Church Women (ECW)

St. Luke's Episcopal Church Women's GroupThe Episcopal Church Women (ECW) is an organization of St. Luke’s comprised of women of all ages, who gather regularly to share in fellowship and support of each other. ECW events encourage the women of St. Luke’s to develop those friendships and relationships that are so valuable as members of the body of Christ.

ECW activities vary from trips to the winery or Botanical Garden, cooking lessons, game nights, movie nights, or Advent Tea, and are open to all women who wish to find support or strengthen their spiritual identity. Ideas and suggestions are always welcome from members.

Please plan to join us as your schedule and family commitments permit. You will cherish the fellowship and camaraderie that the group provides! View our events below, or download the schedule for your pleasure!
