*****UPDATE: This event is postponed until further notice. Instead, please join us on Feb. 18th for an Unplugged session featuring fun games for the family*****
Rev. Hope (Hopie) Welles Jernagan will visit St. Luke’s Episcopal Church on Sunday, February 18, 2018. In addition to delivering the sermon during the 10:00 A.M. worship service, she will also be the featured guest speaker at St. Luke’s Third Sundays Unplugged following service at 11:30 A.M. Rev. Hope will talk about the important work Magdalene St. Louis does for abused women and girls in our local area, as well as share ideas on ways to participate in this important ministry.
Third Sundays Unplugged is a new ministry at St. Luke’s that invites all, regardless of faith or spiritual background, to strengthen community by engaging with one another in real life, as human beings and not as digital beings. The sessions focus on meaningful conversations and fun activities that lift spirits and bring joy to participants’ lives. The event is free, and light snacks and beverages, as well as childcare will be provided.
